Betws-y-Coed, about 5 miles and Blaenau Ffestioniog, about 5 miles away with the world famous Zip World, Bounce Below, Slate Mines and Ffestiniog Steam Trains.
Ty Capel Isa, a historical, quaint manse to the attached chapel built 1820c sleeping up to 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children. It has 2 cosy bedrooms both with double beds an upstairs bathroom, a comfortable lounge with an open fire, dining table and a fitted kitchen. There is a shared picturesque garden, off road parking and free WiFi
In the village there is a shop, local pub and a hotel both serving evening meals. Situated in the Lledr Valley with its meandering river and castle, a roman well, a roman road, an abandoned mine and a hidden valley with an abandoned village. Plenty of walks and exploring from the door step, no car is required. The village is central for all Snowdonia has to offer, mountain walks, stunning beaches, rivers and the historic castles of Conwy, Caernarfon, Criccieth and Harlech. Not forgetting our own welsh built Dolwyddelan Castle !
We are situated next to the Dolwyddelan train station on the Conwy Valley rail line - Llandudno Junction to Blaenau Ffestiniog, easily accessible from anywhere in the UK. (If you time it right you can be in London in 4 hours!)
